Trick #1: Get Local Time for any City in the world:

You can get the local time for any city in the world by using Google. Just search as below in the query box of Google: time in cityname G-tips-time

Trick #2: Get all results from one specified site:

Get the results from a specified site only. This trick will give all search results from a specified site only. You can use the syntax as below: search-query site:sitename.com   This trick can also be used to see all the pages indexed by Google for a particular site, just search as below: site:sitename.com G-tips-specified site only

Trick #3: Find the definition of a word:

Find the definition of any word by searching define: word   G-tips-definition

Trick #4: Do Mathematical Calculations:

Convert your Google search into a mathematical calculator. You can do calculations as below: Find square root: sqrt(102)

Trick #7: Find Sun Rise & Sun Set

Find the sun rise and sun set of any place by searching sunrise place-name or sunset place-name   sunrise

Trick #8: Unit Conversion:

You can do unit conversion from one to another just by typing in Google as 10.5 cm in inches   Unit-conversion

Trick #9: Get Population data of any country

Get the population data of any country as: population India   pupulation

Trick #10: Synonym word search:

If you want to search not only for your search term but also for its synonyms, place the tilde sign (~) immediately in front of your search term. e.g ~Cricket

Trick #11: Do a Local Search

If you’re looking for a store, restaurant, or other local business you can search for the category of business and the location:   local-search

Trick #12 Find Movie Show Times,review etc.

To find reviews and show times for movies playing near you, type “movies” or the name of a current film into the Google search box:   movies

Trick #13 Track Your Flight:

To see flight status for arriving and departing U.S. flights, type in the name of the airline and the flight number into the search box:   american airlines 18 - Google Search

Trick #14: Find Flight schedules:

To see flight schedules to or from a particular destination, type “flights from” or “flights to” followed by the city or airport of interest. You can also add another location with “to” or “from” and view the schedule for a specific route.   track-flight

Trick #15: Convert Currency

To converter currency, simply enter the conversion you’d like done into the Google search box and Google will provide your answer directly on the results page.   currency

Trick #16: Search Based on File Type:

This query will only search inside a specified file type. For example if you want to search for the word Google inside only PDF files then type in the box as: google filetype:pdf   filetype

Trick #17: Title Search:

If you are bored of getting results from the sites based on the key words, then you can try the title search, this will give you the article with those titles. Search as: intitle:money making

Trick #18: Search for related websites

You can find the related sites by searching for related:site.com   relatedWebsite

Trick #19: Find the Backlink for a website

Backlink is very important for a website. For those who does not know what is a backlink:

“Backlinks are the incoming links to a website”.

So using Google Search you can easily find the backlinks to a website just by searching as link:websitename.com
