Blog Commenting and Pagerank Relationship
One of the most important strategies of improving Page Rank is link building. More the number of authentic inbound links more is the Page Rank. So most of the bloggers and webmasters started following a rule, comment on other blog posts – By doing so they can leave a link back to their website. So now you have built a lot of backlinks to your blog, still you do not find any improvement in the Page Rank of your website?
So the question is why there is no improvement in your page ranking where as you have got so many back links in terms of blog comments which are even relevant to your blog niche? The answer is very simple, because those links are nofollow links, rel=”nofollow” is indicated inside the anchor tag. This tells Google that the included link does not have any importance in terms of measuring page ranking. This is the reason why you do not find any improvement in your website page rank.
Most of the blogs have enabled nofollow comment system in their blog. So whenever you give your comment you get a back link but which does not help in page rank improvement.
So why should I comment on blogs if I do not get any benefit?
So now you might be thinking that if blog commenting does not improve my page ranking then why should I comment on blogs? That is a fair question that everybody should get, but there are other benefits of blog commenting which are as equal as improving page ranking.
