Presently almost 17.6% of users are using Google Chrome browser and still its growing. There are lot of things that you can explore in Chrome. There is an extension facility available in Chrome which makes your life more easier when you are on the web.


Today I am going to tell you about an extension which helps in capturing screenshot while you are surfing a site, it is called Screen Capture By Google. You may some time need to capture a portion of a webpage as a picture or the whole page as a picture, in that case this extension is very useful. This tool is very simple to install and use. Lets discuss in details how you can download, install and use it.


Getting started:


Download & Install:- Open the link (Screen Capture By Google) using your chrome browser. On the right side you can see the install button as shown below:




Click on the install button and wait till the installation completes. It takes a few seconds.


How To Use: After successful installation you can see a logo at right top of your browser as shown below: If you click on that you can see the screen capture options.




So here you have 4 options for screen capturing:

1. Capture page region

2. Capture visible content

3. Capture whole page

4. Capture screen region


Capture page region: This option allows you to capture a region of the page. You can drag the capture section and can take the shot of any region you want. After selection you can click the OK button to save the region as an image file to your local disk.




Capture visible content: This option allows you to capture the visible content of your screen, that means you can directly capture the content which are visible to you.


Capture whole page: This option is very useful if you want to capture the whole page. It captures the whole page including the non visible part of the screen.


Capture screen region: This is similar to the capturing the page region. You can capture any region of the screen by just dragging it. With this option you can capture not only the page but also the whole screen.
