What is Google Chromecast and How to Use it
Google Chromecast is a digital media streaming adapter developed by Google. Chromecast is a plug and play dongle that plugs into your HD TV and grants access to multiple streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu Plus, Google Plus etc. Even you can show the content of your Chrome browser on your TV through Chromecast.
What is Chromecast?
It is a device that can be plugged into TV’s HDMI port, powered by a USB cable and using your smartphone or computer as a remote control, you can use Chromecast to access video content from Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus and the Google Play Store. The device, a 2.83-inch (72 mm) dongle, plays audio/video content on a high-definition TV by streaming it via Wi-Fi from the Internet or local network.
How does it work? Basically it is a bridge between your HD TV and the streaming service provider. The streaming service provider, for example Netflix or YouTube or any other service broadcast contents to Chromecast and then it displays on your TV.
