1. Using PDFMerge (Online Tool)

 

PDFMerge is an online tool that helps in merging multiple PDF files into one PDF file. Below is the procedure to be followed:

 

Step1: Browse PDFMerge website and click Choose File button and select your files from your computer in the same order in which you want them to merge.  

 

Step2: After selecting all your documents click on the Merger button and rest is easy to handle and you can download your merged PDF file. 

 

**This service is free for files up to 15 MB only. The best  option they have is if you have sensitive/personal data then you can user their secure connection to merge PDF files.

 

2. Using FoxyUtils MergePDF (Online Tool)

 

FoxyUtils MergePDF is another free online tool that combines multiple PDF files. 

Just browse the website and click on Browse button and select multiple PDF files in order and then click on Merge button and your merged PDF file will be ready in seconds. Download it.

**This service allows up to 30 MB of total uploaded file size.

 

3. Using SejDa (Online Tool)

 

Sejda is a completely free online tool for PDF manipulations. You can use this service completely free to merge PDF files as well.

 

Instructions:

1. Browse Sejda website and select the task Merge PDF.

2. Click on Upload local file button to upload all your PDF files.

3. After uploading all your files click on “Done with files, Continue” button.

4. Arrange the order of the PDF files by drag and drop and select the page range for each of the PDF file. Click on “Submit parameters” button and your file will be ready for download. 

 

**As such there is no file size limitation for this service and its completely free of cost. This service has a Google chrome add-on available using which you can merge PDF files directly from your chrome browser. 

 

4. Using PDFSam (Windows Application)

 

You can download the PDFSam windows application which is completely free of cost. This software is used to manipulate and merge PDF files. Download and install this application on your pc/laptop, both 32 bits and 64 bits are available. There is a MAC version also available for download.

Merging PDF Files With Adobe Acrobat – (Commercial, Not Free)

 

Step1: Download and install Adobe Acrobat, will cost around $300 USD. However you can get a free trial version for 30 days.

 

Step2: Launch the program and select “Combine files into PDF” option from main menu.

 

Step3: Click “Add Files” button in the combine files dialog box and add all your file.

 

Step4: Arrange your files in order and then click the “Combine Files” button to merge them into one PDF file.

    It is very easy to merge PDF files in any amount into one or to split PDF files into number of separate PDF pages or files with Energizer PDF Splitter Merger. Even PDF files can be protected with password and content copying ,form filling, printing can be restricted by unauthorized user.

    Tried a couple of solutions and here is my study result:
    Software based: pdfcreator from http://pdfforge.org (open-source program with many options)
    Webbased: http://combinepdf.cc (less options but the basic things are in)
    pdfsam as you suggest is also quite nice but limits in PDF sizes which is a downside.

    Another good choice to combine PDF documents is the PDF merger from Smallpdf – it also let’s you see all the pages in preview mode, delete single pages and change the order of pages. There is no limits on files and it’s free. We would appreciate your feedback.

    PDF manipulation is really a bigger achievement especially for business class. Now it became very easy to split,merge or convert pdf files. All of the above tools are good to manipulate pdf files but i would like to be with PDF Merge.
