Save Gmail attachments directly to Google Drive from Android device
Its been quite a long time for the web version of Gmail allowing users to save their attachments directly to the Google drive with a single click. This is really an important feature of Gmail as it ensures the safety of your important documents.
However this feature was missing in the android Gmail application. But now with the latest update of Gmail app you can save your email attachments directly to Google drive.
How to Save Gmail Attachments to Google Drive?
With the latest update of the Gmail application Google has introduced the option to save your email attachments directly to your Google drive. All you need to do is to push the 3 dots icon on particular attachment. This will bring up the option to save it to your Google drive. Select Save to Drive as shown in the image above and your attachment will be saved to Google drive.
This is not the only feature update you get with the latest version of Gmail app, there are several other features included like:
