Product Details:

I tested the product on all the three environments. The software did not take much time to get installed in all the three cases. Once installed, the tool displayed a self-explanatory interface to convert the format of one email client into the format of another email client.

Select Source and ConvertTo Mailbox: – The main interface is divided into two sections. The left side gives an option to select the source mailbox, whereas the left side gives an option to select the ConvertTo mailbox.
You can select the source mailbox format from the available mailbox formats like Apple Mail (MBOX), Apple Mail (EMLX), Outlook 2011 Backup File (OLM), Thunderbird (MBOX), and PostBox (MBOX).

Stellar Mac Mail Converter Review

In the same way you can select the format in which you want to convert from the given mailbox formats like Apple Mail and Outlook 2011.

The final conversion result allows you to view complete mail body including attachments of other mailboxes in Apple Mail and Outlook 2011.

Instructions for Users: Once you specify the source mailbox format you need to specify the path under the ‘Source Mailbox’ section. You can click ‘Browse’ to navigate to select the file by navigating to the location. Once the file is selected, you need to select a location to save the converted file. This can be done by clicking the ‘Browse’ button of the ‘Select Location’ filed under the Select format option of the right section. Once the source and final format, path, and location have been chosen, click the ‘Start Conversion’ button from the bottom right of the interface.

Note: Apple Mail creates both MBOX and EMLX file formats to save the mails. However, Thunderbird and PostBox also use the same MBOX file format to save mails, attachments, and other data. While converting such MBOX format of Thunderbird or PostBox, you can have only the MBOX format of the Apple Mail.

Ease of Use: The software uses a rich graphical user interface (GUI), which can be easily performed by anyone having a little computer knowledge.

Pros:

  • Maintains the same folder hierarchy after conversion
  • Supports popular email clients like Apple Mail, Outlook 2011, Thunderbird, and Postbox

  • The technician version is costlier.

This tool uses an advanced algorithm, which makes it possible to convert different mailbox formats like MBOX, EMLX, and OLM into Apple Mail (MBOX) and Outlook 2011 (RGE) in a seamless manner.
